Unlike their tungsten counterparts, Upavon’s countersunk painted brass beads offer a much slower sink rate making them ideal for slow sinking patterns or shallow water applications.

 

Sometimes fish become used to a fast-falling fly, but the same pattern tied using a brass bead falling through the water column slower will induce a take from the pickiest fish.
