1. Complete Online Pre-Course Work
You must complete the firearm safety course work before applying for a firearm licence in Victoria. Visit www.firearmsafety.org.au to view the information.
2. Book and Attend the Safety Test
Once you've completed the course, contact Bluey's Hunting & Fishing in Wodonga to schedule your safety test. The test costs $60. Their contact number is (02) 6056 1259.
3. Bring Appropriate Identification
For the safety test, bring photo identification such as a driver's licence. If you're a junior, acceptable IDs include a birth certificate, passport, or student ID.
4. Apply for a Firearm License
After passing the safety test, apply for your firearm licence through the Victoria Police eServices portal. You'll need to print your application and follow the instructions provided.

5. Submit Your Application
When submitting your application, include a photocopy of your safety course certificate. Do not send the original certificate. Ensure all required documents are included as per the instructions from Victoria Police.
