Orvis Pro Vest

The Orvis PRO Vest brings fly-fishing vest design into the 21st century with modern ergonomics, materials, and innovative features that provide the ultimate in on-the-water organization and convenience. Every detail of traditional vest performance has been studied and redesigned to enhance the fly-fishing experience, from storage options to ergonomic placement of tools, with a new level of performance and durability. It is built of a light abrasion-resistant nylon with a DWR coating that resists moisture. The fitted design is built to conform to the body with a stretch mesh interior that allows air flow and enhanced breathability. The shoulders have a lofted spacer mesh of nylon and spandex that not only cushions the load, but allows airflow over the shoulders as well. There are 18 pockets - 10 exterior, 6 interior, and 2 rear, ergonomically designed with new materials to provide organization coupled with smooth workflow when on the water. The two lower main pockets mirror each other with compression molded construction that add rigidity. The interior organization pockets are stretch mesh to conform to load. Behind each of the lower pockets is another built-in vertical pocket with stretch mesh to reduce weight and conform to load. The upper pockets are medium size, both with Orvis custom hideaway tool port that allows for the placement of a zinger and tool attachment underneath two fly drying patches. The interior has a slash pocket and there is a quick-access stretch mesh pocket as well as a vertical slash pocket with key clip. The rear pockets offer a large pass-through game-style pocket under a full-zip rear pocket with mesh panel divider that can handle everything from thermos bottles to rain jackets.
