Bluey’s Hunting & Fishing, originally known as Bluey’s Bait & Tackle, was founded in 1987 by Robert and Lyn Williams. Over the decades, it became a trusted name in the local community, known for quality gear and good advice.
In 2023, the next chapter began when Kaine and Sophie Edwards took over the reins. Since then, Bluey’s has expanded its product range, launched a full online store, and embraced a broader vision — becoming a go-to destination for outdoor enthusiasts across the region and beyond.
Today, Bluey’s stands for more than just great gear. It’s a place where a love of the outdoors is shared, celebrated, and passed on to the next generation of hunters, fishers, and adventurers.

Kaine and Sophie Edwards grew up in Corryong, a small town nestled in North East Victoria. Brought together by their shared love of the outdoors — especially fishing — they’ve turned their passion into purpose through Bluey’s.
Both Kaine and Soph live and breathe the outdoor lifestyle. Whether it's on the water, up in the hills, or behind the counter, they’re always keen to connect with like-minded people who appreciate the beauty of the region and the thrill of the outdoors.
Their goal? To grow Bluey’s into more than just a store — to build a community, share knowledge, and inspire others to get outside and make the most of what nature has to offer.
